FCP - First Contact Physiotherapy
First Contact Physiotherapy (FCP) is a service that patients can see highly trained physiotherapists at your GP surgery.
Physiotherapists have extensive experience in the assessment and management of musculoskeletal conditions.
Musculoskeletal conditions can cover:
- Soft tissue injuries, sprains, or sport injuries
- Arthritis of any joint
- Problems with muscles, ligaments, tendons or bone
- Spinal pain
- Spinal related pain in arms or legs including nerve symptoms
- Changes to walking
- Post-orthopaedic surgery

To book an appointment with one of our highly trained physiotherapists, please call the surgery on 0151 295 8899 and our reception team will book you an appointment. The FCP appointments run all day on Fridays.
Our highly trained physiotherapists will be able to assess and diagnose conditions, give expert advice on how best to manage your conditions, and if necessary refer you onto specialist services.
