At the practice, we understand that being able to communicate effectively with patients is an essential part of providing safe, effective care, and we are committed to making that as easy as possible for all patients.

If English is not your first language or you require help with communicating with us, we would like to reassure you that we have interpreter services in place to make your experience with us a pleasant one.

This includes ensuring that proper support is put in place for people who rely on braille, British Sign Language (BSL), or other interpretation services. You can find a printable information card below to show staff that you use BSL below in the resources section.

Meeting people’s communication needs is essential in enabling people to get the health care they need. The NHS Accessible Information Standard and Equality Act 2010 require us to meet people’s communication needs.
